Shipping & Returns

Two separate promises. They are not the same thing.

Two promises run alongside each other and they are not the same thing. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers changing your mind. The lifetime craftsmanship guarantee covers defects in what we made. Both are set out in full below.

The store is a prototype and is not trading, so nothing here can be ordered yet. This page describes how the store is intended to operate. Terms and Conditions Section 1 takes priority for as long as that is true.

Shipping

How long until my order ships?

Every piece is printed and assembled by hand after you order it, so there is a production step before anything moves.

  • Posters are usually produced and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days.
  • Classic Frame and Gallery Collection pieces are hand-assembled and usually take 3 to 5 business days before dispatch.
  • Larger orders, meaning several pieces or a full championship set, sit at the top of those ranges.

Those are production times, not delivery times. Add the carrier transit time on top. We produce Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, so an order placed on Friday evening starts on Monday.

Periods of high volume run longer than normal. A championship finishing, a new release and the run-up to Christmas are the three that reliably do it.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is 3 to 7 business days after dispatch for the contiguous 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other US territories, PO boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses take longer, typically 7 to 14 business days, because the final leg transfers to USPS.

Add that to the production time above. A framed piece ordered on a Monday would typically be produced by that Friday and arrive the following week.

Need it for a date? Email framatics.us@gmail.com before ordering and say when you need it. We can often expedite production, and it is far easier to arrange before a piece enters the queue than after.

How much is shipping, and how do I get it free?

Shipping is free on every order for members of the Framatics Family. Membership is free to join, so in practice free shipping is one sign-up away.

For everyone else, standard shipping is charged at checkout and is calculated from the size and weight of the piece. A rolled poster costs meaningfully less to ship than a framed 24x36.

The Framatics Family programme is not running yet and the Loyalty Rewards Terms and Conditions explain what that means. No shipping is charged today, because no order can be placed today.

How is my order packaged?

Posters ship rolled in a rigid protective tube. Rolling is deliberate: a folded print carries the crease forever, and a flat-packed poster is the one most likely to arrive with a bent corner.

Framed pieces ship fully assembled with hanging hardware fitted, in packaging built around the frame, the glazing and the print. There is no assembly at your end and no trip to a frame shop.

Everything is hand-inspected before it goes into the box.

How do I track my order?

You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves us. Tracking usually goes live within a few hours of that email, once the carrier scans the parcel into their system, so a number that shows nothing at first is normal.

You can also look an order up on the Order Status page using the order number and the email address you used at checkout. The order number is in your confirmation email and starts with FR.

Tracking only appears there once the order has shipped. Before that, the page shows where the piece is in production.

Why has my order not shipped yet?

Almost always because it is still in production. Nothing is made in advance, so the clock starts when you order, not when you check the tracking.

Beyond the normal ranges above, the usual causes are:

  • a period of high volume, most often right after a championship;
  • an order containing both a poster and a framed piece, which are produced on different timelines;
  • an address the carrier could not validate, which we will have emailed you about.

If you are past the estimate and have heard nothing, email framatics.us@gmail.com with your order number and we will find out where it is rather than guess.

Items from my order arrived separately. Is that normal?

Yes. Posters and framed pieces are produced on different timelines, and a rolled tube and a framed box are different parcels. When an order contains both, they usually travel separately and can arrive a day or two apart.

Each parcel gets its own tracking number, so check the shipping emails for the order before assuming something is missing.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We ship within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Framed glazing is fragile and expensive to ship across a border, and getting it there intact is a problem we would rather solve properly than badly. If you are outside the US and want a piece, email framatics.us@gmail.com and tell us where you are, because that is how we will decide where to open next.

My tracking says delivered but nothing arrived.

Give it two business days first. A parcel marked delivered has often been handed to a local post office for final delivery, or scanned early by a driver finishing a route. Most of these turn up.

While you wait, check any porch, side gate or mail room, and ask neighbours. Carriers leave parcels with neighbours more often than they record it.

If it has not appeared after two business days, email framatics.us@gmail.com with your order number and the delivery address, and we will open a claim with the carrier and sort out a replacement. You do not have to chase the carrier yourself.

Returns and Exchanges

What is the 30-day money-back guarantee?

If a piece is not what you hoped for, you have 30 days from delivery to send it back for a full refund of what you paid for it.

The conditions are short:

  • the piece comes back within 30 days of delivery;
  • it comes back in its original condition, undamaged and unmounted, in packaging that will protect it;
  • you have the order number.

The piece has to be returned before the refund is issued. This is a satisfaction guarantee, not a keep-it-and-refund policy.

Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of us receiving and checking the return. Original shipping is refunded when the return is our fault, and not when it is a change of mind.

How do I start a return or exchange?

Use the contact form and choose Return or Refund as the request type, or email framatics.us@gmail.com with “Return” in the subject line. Include the order number and say which piece and why.

We will send you a return label and instructions. Do not send anything back before you have that label, because an unannounced parcel has nothing to match it to and slows the refund down.

Send each order back separately with its own label. Items from different orders cannot be combined into one return.

Exchanges work the same way, and are handled as a return plus a new order rather than a swap, because everything is made to order and there is no shelf to take a replacement from.

Who pays return postage?

We do, when the piece arrived damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered. We will send a prepaid label and you should not be out of pocket.

For a change of mind within the 30 days, return postage is yours. We will still send the label so the piece is tracked and insured properly, and deduct its cost from the refund rather than asking you to arrange your own.

My piece arrived damaged or wrong. What now?

Email framatics.us@gmail.com straight away, or use the contact form and pick Product Defective/Not As Pictured. Include your order number and photographs: one of the damage itself and one of the outer packaging as it arrived.

The packaging photo matters more than it sounds. It is what tells us whether the carrier crushed it or we sent it out wrong, and it is what a carrier claim needs.

We replace damaged and incorrect pieces. We do not ask you to return a damaged piece first, and we do not count this against the 30 days.

What does the lifetime craftsmanship guarantee cover?

It covers defects in materials and workmanship, for as long as you own the piece. A frame joint that opens, a mount that lifts, glazing that was not seated properly, ink that fails on paper that should have held it. If we made it and it failed, we fix or replace it.

It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or fading caused by hanging a print in direct sunlight. Nothing printed survives direct sun indefinitely, and no honest guarantee claims otherwise.

This is separate from the 30-day money-back guarantee and does not expire with it. Thirty days is for changing your mind. The lifetime guarantee is for us being wrong.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, if production has not started. Email framatics.us@gmail.com with the order number as soon as you can and we will stop it if we can.

Once a piece is printed we cannot un-print it, and a framed piece is cut to the print. After that point the 30-day money-back guarantee is the route, and it covers you either way.

Address corrections are worth sending the moment you spot them. Before dispatch we can just change it; after dispatch it becomes a carrier redirect, which is slower and not always possible.

I bought a Framatics piece somewhere else. Can I return it here?

No. We can only take back pieces bought directly from this store, because we have no record of an order placed anywhere else and no way to verify it. Take it up with wherever you bought it.

The lifetime craftsmanship guarantee is different: if we made the piece and it has a genuine defect, email framatics.us@gmail.com with photographs and we will look at it regardless of where it was bought.

Anything not answered here goes to framatics.us@gmail.com, or use the contact form and pick the closest request type. We aim to answer within one business day, Monday to Friday.
